In a Euro2 million investment Leaderform, Verona, one of Italy’s leading direct mail and business communication companies, has bought a second high-speed Screen Truepress Jet520ZZ inkjet web press. The company made the decision this week at drupa and the innovative duplex press will be installed in Leaderform’s Verona offices in June by local Screen Truepress distributor Atlantic Zeiser S.r.l.

The company’s investment in a second 220m/min Truepress Jet520ZZ is in response to the outstanding success of its first press installed last year and significant growth in print orders as a direct result.  Leaderform has an aggressive growth plan over the next five years. Its strategy is to steadily replace its legacy toner-based print technology with inkjet to dramatically reduce the cost of production, improve quality and increase production capacity.

23 March 2012- This summer’s big events—the Diamond Jubilee, the Olympics and Paralympics—may be about to bring the world to the UK, but before they do the “Picon British Pavilions” at drupa will take 18 of the UK’s home-grown print suppliers to the world of print.

From 3rd-16th May the Picon British Pavilions will occupy 800 square metres across five drupa Halls, with Picon-hosted business lounges also available in two Halls.  The participating companies represent the full spread of Picon’s wide and varied membership—litho and digital, prepress and post-press, software and ancillaries—and will all be taking advantage of Picon’s decades of organising similar export-driven joint ventures at major exhibitions.
