When Mexican shoe company Coqueta & Audaz wanted to produce shoes that would be bright and colourful and also appeal to the more fashion conscious children they turned to printers Extrema Publicidad.

Using their Inca Eagle H, Extrema printed the designs onto the leather which was used to make the children’s shoes.

24th February 2011 – Seven leading wide format printer manufacturers in China have chosen the 60 picolitre Xaar Proton inkjet printhead to deliver high-performance display graphics to their customers in China and overseas.

Design Digital, LiYu, Zhong Ye, Shenzhen RTZ and Yat Fung have joined Chiting and Wit-Color in adopting the new, premium quality and wide-swathe printhead from Xaar.

The innovative high speed, web-fed Truepress Jet520ZZ joins the company’s Screen Truepress Jet520 printer and will be installed in Leaderform’s Verona offices in March.

After a 31 year association with the company, Brian Forsdike retires as President of Screen Europe and Chairman of Dainippon Screen UK on March 31st this year.

Brian’s successor is Kees Mulder, a Dutch National who was formally Vice President & Director Corporate Business Development with Eastman Kodak in Europe. Kees will join Screen Europe on February 1st before taking over as Managing Director and President of Screen European Operations on April 1st.
