Epson releases

John Herrera, winner of the 2015 London Emerging Designer Awards, uses Epson digital printing technology to open up new creative possibilities

16th February 2017 – Fashion designer John Herrera (www.johnherreracouture.com) has partnered with Epson to produce a 30-piece collection digitally printed with Epson’s textile dye-sublimation printers. The collection for men and women is inspired by the Aguila, the protected Great Philippine Eagle, and will show at London Fashion Week on Monday 20th February (4-6pm, Fashion Scout Freemason’s Hall, 60 Great Queen Street, London).

Epson launches 17-inch, 10-colour professional photography, fine art and proofing printer

 

SureColor SC-P5000 delivers outstanding performance, reliability and 99% Pantone accuracy

20th January 2016 – Epson announces the launch of the SureColor SC-P5000 17-inch, 10-colour printer incorporating Epson’s latest imaging technologies and designed for professional proofing, fine art and photography applications. The SureColor SC-P5000 replaces the popular Stylus Pro 4900 and completes the SureColor range which also includes the SC-P7000 (24-inch) and SC-P9000 (44-inch) models. The new printer features the advanced Epson PrecisionCore® TFP printhead and UltraChome HDX 10-colour pigment ink set (including Orange, Green and Violet or Light Light Black) to deliver outstanding 2880x1440dpi resolution output with an increased colour gamut, higher-density blacks and twice the print permanence.

 Milan, 9th January 2017 – The Monna Lisa printer has made history in the Home Textile sector with more than three million square metres of pigment printed since 2005. This digital textile printer has revolutionised the textile printing market. It is the result of years of collaboration between Epson, a pioneer in digital printing technology for fabrics, and For.Tex. and F.lli Robustelli, companies that are now part of the Group. These three companies will be at Heimtextil to show the Home Textile and furnishing market digital printing on fabrics using high-quality pigments with a low environmental impact.

Heimtextil showcase for best of

The Innovation Research Lab and The Printing Research Center, in collaboration with For.tex and F.lli Robustelli, aim to develop and promote the digital textile printing industry worldwide.

MILAN, Italy, and TOKYO, Japan, 14 December 2016 – Seiko Epson Corporation (TSE: 6724, “Epson”) a pioneer of digital textile printing, announces two new hub sites dedicated to the development of new industrial digital textile products. The Innovation Research Lab, focusing on ink technology R&D, has been created by Epson together with For.Tex. The Printing Research Center, in collaboration with F.lli Robustelli, a major player in production engineering for textile printers and recently acquired by Epson, will aid future development of Epson inkjet core technology dedicated to textile printing.

13th December 2016 South East Workwear has invested in an Epson SureColor SC-F2000 direct-to-garment printer to boost its customised shirt printing productivity and flexibility with significant cost and labour benefits, and grow its business by expanding into new areas.

Family-run South East Workwear specialises in selling workwear online and from its Abingdon shop. It also provides an embroidery and print service for up to 700 customised tops a day for a variety of work, promotional, sports and events wear from its factory right next door.
